"Waaaaalllll-eeeeeee"
That's been the chant around our house the last few days.
Meet Wally:
Wally- not Wal-E, like the robot. Wally- like Beaver's big brother.
He's an 8 year old cocker spaniel. The loving family he came from has to move, and so with tears in their eyes, they handed him over to us. We brought him home to stay Thursday night.
So far, he's still getting used to us and his new routine. He's a bit of a nervous mess still, but he's starting to feel more at home.
If you ask me, I don't think he'll have it too rough.

So adorable. Can hardly wait to see him. Reminds me of your mom's dog, Tippy. We got her because Grandpa Johnson found out about a family that was moving and they could not take her with them. Grandpa was so sure about Tippy that he had us go to the Village garage where he worked and see her, so of course, the kids had to have her. I can still see your mother sitting hugging Tippy on the lawn at the farm, so happy. Tippy was 2 years old and we had her until she was 18.
