"Beyou"

Aaron has learned the color blue.  He knows some other colors, but not as solidly as blue.

And that means whenever he sees anything that is blue, he points it out to me.

"Car Beyou."

"Sky Beyou."

"B (blanket) Beyou."

And it also means he will sometimes want something specifically in blue.

His "beyou" sweatshirt, the "beyou" cereal pieces in Fruit Loops, the "beyou" bowl...

I love that my constant-talker's vocabulary is expanding.  He's pretty fun to talk to.

Getting outside

Aaron and I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to burn off energy (his more than mine) outdoors.  I love spring and summer especially.  I could skip winter all together.

Bubbles have been a big hit the last couple of days.

He got a new bubble machine- it's fun!!

Today we spent some time at the park.

He fearlessly tackled the wobbly bridge.

 He belly-slid down every slide.

And he daringly climbed the vertical bars, nearly giving Ma a heart attack.

And yes, he made it to the top.  Multiple times.  But Mama had her arms ready!

Water-Loving Kid!

My son is so much like me.  As soon as the weather gets a little warm, he wants to play in the water!

He's begging for me to turn on the water so he can make puddles and splash around.

We go through a lot of laundry in puddle season.

He gets so soaked, his pants are too heavy to stay up!

I love this boy.
